Project Summary
1. In as much detail as possible record the steps it took to create this project in photoshop. Use complete sentences.​ 

I first began with brainstorming things I like and what represent me as a person. I then gathered photos of myself and photos that represent me off the internet and put it on Adobe. After I had done that I began using all the different techniques I have learned in this class such as to use the blend modes, layer masks, clipping masks, adjustment layers, and free transforming. I put these techniques together to make my own identity collage.

2. Define the terms as they relate to Photoshop: Blend modes,  layer masks and adjustment layers. Give a specific example of how you used each of these in your identity collage. 

I used blend mode by blending in the four different backgrounds into one. I used clipping masks to help me remove or add part of an image. I used free transform to help me change the sizes of myself on the collage to make me go from smaller to bigger. I used the clipping mask to put an image inside another such as my body. I then used the adjustment layer to change the color of the background to make it a darker tone.

3. How does your college represent your identity? What specific images did you use and what do they represent about you? I used baseball photos because I have been playing my whole life and I can't imagine myself without it. I also added the Filipino and Mexican flag to show my culture and ethnicity. I added smaller things as well like buildings and a moon that show what I feel that represents me and what makes me happy. In the moon I added a cross to show my faith and how big it is in my life.

4. What was successful in your project? What was unsuccessful and what would you do differently next time to solve this problem?

I believe the images I added were my most successful because they represent me strongly but I do believe that I need to work on my blending with the backgrounds.

5. Based on the learning target, what level of mastery does your project demonstrate (Exceeds, Meets, Needs Work, minimal understanding). Why do you think? Make sure to provide specific evidence.

Based on my learning I believe I have met the requirements. I believe this because although I tried my best I do think I could have done better with certain aspects like blending and shading.
